Like learning any subject matter, you must first start at the beginning. Learning the basics builds the fondation that will support the pillars of the subject matter.

Let's first start first with the ingredientsand staples you should have in your kitchen . Cooking is all about the ingredients. The freshest ingredients The right combination of ingredients can make the dish. There needs to be that right balance of flavors and texture that brings out the WOW factor.

Below is a list of all the ingredients you need to have in your home as "the basics."

The Basic Dry Spices

Coarse kosher or sea salt
